1980 Happy Birthday Guitarist James Young of the Eli Young Band born on this day in Dallas, Texas.  Eli Young Band best known for “Crazy Girl,” and “Drunk Last Night”

1982 Ronnie Milsap sits at #1 on the Billboard country chart with “I Wouldn’t Have Missed It For The World”

1984 RCA releases Alabama’s album “Roll On”
