We first heard the story of Sam and Jo on Tuesday morning. Immediately we knew this story was special, just like the girls.
Sam (11 years old) and Jo (8 Years old) are sisters who heard a Japanese Legend, that if you make 1000 paper cranes you will get a wish granted. They really wanted to go to Taylor Swift’s sold out 1989 concert in Salt Lake City, so they decided to make 1,989 cranes for Taylor Swift. Once news broke about Taylor Swift’s mother, Andrea, having cancer – they changed their wish to hoping Taylor Swift’s mom would get better soon.
Sam and Jo were so kind and selfless that Jon, Justin and Chantel wanted to grant both of their wishes. They got on the phone and started contacting Taylor Swift’s people to make their dreams come true!
On Thursday, we had Sam and Jo in studio to give them a BIG Surprise. Brooke, a member of Taylor Swift’s team called in and represented Taylor Swift as she gave Sam and Jo 4 tickets to Taylor Swift’s SOLD OUT concert and the promise to make sure Taylor and her mom get the cranes. Jon, Justin and Chantel are going to cover the cost of postage to get the cranes shipped to Taylor Swift. Taylor Swift also gave T-Shirts, CD’s, calendars, perfume, and so much more!
