Technical Sgt Footer serves as the Vehicle Maintenance Superintendent at Volk Field Air National Guard Base in Camp Douglas, Wi. Sam has served in both Iraq and Afghanistan. He’s currently working on becoming a Master Sergeant and is always one of the first people to volunteer for disaster relief or anything of the sort. He has been in the Air Force for almost 13 years and wants to finish out his 20 in the military.

His pride for his country and constant passion to serve and protect inspires his wife every day ! His wife stated that he is a true hero not only for his bravery but for his kind heart.
