It looks like National Treasure 3 may actually be happening!
It’s been 12 years since the sequel, and Benjamin Gates (Nicholas Cage) was following clues that were left in John Wilkes Booth’s diary to prove his ancestor’s innocence in the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln along with his friends Riley Poole (Justin Bartha) & Abigail Chase (Diane Kruger) all before Mtich Wilkinson (Ed Harris) finds Cibola (The City Of Gold).
Word is Jerry Bruckheimer is on board. He has been promising the movie since 2008. He even had a script back in 2010 (let’s hope they freshen it up a bit) It also looks like Nicolas Cage will be returning as Benjamin Gates. Which is a must! No one plays that part better than Nick Cage.
