And The President Is…

No matter who you wanted to win this election, just remember…

After the seventeen month campaign, Donald J. Trump will be the 45th president of the United States. The real estate developer, reality TV star, and New York businessman took his Republican ticket straight to the White House. Trump had been extremely close with his Democratic contender, Hillary Clinton in polling averages for nearly the entire election. However, he succeeded in the end by picking up a few states many believed would be a shoe in for Clinton and quite a few swing states. Trump, now 70, will be the oldest president ever sworn in for a first term. His big win ends Hillary’s hope of becoming America’s first woman president. In his acceptance speech, Trump thanked Clinton for all of her hard work, “I’ve just received a call from Secretary Clinton. She congratulated us, it’s about us, on our victory and I congratulated her and her family on a very very hard fought campaign. I mean, she fought very hard. Hillary has worked very long and very hard over a long period of time and we owe her a major debt of gratitude for her service to our country. I mean that very sincerely.” To hear the entire acceptance speech watch the video below:
