If you’re looking to stay on the good side of a bartender, listen up to bartender and Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix. She shares three things you should NEVER say to your bartender.
While on The Today Show, Madix said “Never tell a bartender to smile more. My job is to make you a really good cocktail in a timely manner. I’m not your cheerleader.”
Don’t ever accuse the bartender of NOT adding alcohol to your alcoholic drink. “I could be fired if you try to score an extra shot of booze. Pay for the extra shot of alcohol if you want it stronger” Madix shares.
Madix’s third rule? Even if your bartender is cute, don’t hit on them. Madix shared one experience in her ten years as a bartender where a man bragged about leaving her “a good tip” only to find a $2 tip and the man’s phone number.
